What are we waiting for? April 1, 2015. This semester much more than last has also been difficult due to the amount of negativity surrounding education. Last semester the school district spoke out about wanting to make classroom sizes smaller. This was exciting, as I had over forty students in my classroom. One of my classmates had fifty students. Fifty students to one teacher! Then came the negativity.

A debut novel that tells the story of Rasa, a young gay man coming of age in the Middle East. Set over the course of twenty-four hours, Guapa. I pretty much selected it based on the ratings on goodreads, which was about 4 stars out of 5. Is he based somewhere in the West where he is untouchable? All this.
